Back in the Day

This collection came about through an amazing collaboration opportunity with hand lettering artist Branden Sherman. We came up with the idea of a 90's inspired dinosaur collection, a tongue in cheek reference to the younger generations impression of how long ago the 90's were.

With knowledge of modern vintage revival we researched trends from the time, including the popularity of the Memphis pattern and bright neon rave hues. I took elements of dinosaurs from their silhouettes to their teeth and spines and abstracted them into geometric elements that aligned perfectly with the Memphis elements. We felt like the bright colors and patterns translated well to tech accessories.
